This study analyzes the impact of online gambling on mental health and the risk of suicidal behavior through a bibliographic approach that synthesizes scientific literature published between 2020 and 2026. The justification for choosing this theme lies in the accelerated expansion of digital gambling platforms in Brazil, converging with a mental health crisis characterized by increasing suicide rates. The main objective consists of examining mechanisms by which online gambling precipitates emotional collapse and amplifies suicidal risk in vulnerable populations. The methodology adopts exploratory qualitative research with systematic search in specialized databases, selecting articles addressing online gambling, mental health, and suicidal behavior. The main results indicate that online gambling constitutes an emerging risk factor for mental health, with evidence of association with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation, particularly in contexts of economic vulnerability. The most relevant conclusions point to the urgent need for integrated public policies that combine platform regulation, prevention, and clinical intervention, recognizing that the convergence between online gambling, emotional collapse, and suicidal risk represents a public health issue that demands a structured and multisectoral response.
