ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE DEHUMANIZATION OF THOUGHT: PHILOSOPHICAL REFLECTIONS ON THE REPLACEMENT OF HUMAN INTELLECTUAL PRODUCTION

This study examines the philosophical implications of replacing human intellectual production with artificial intelligence systems, investigating how technological mediation transforms cognitive processes and reduces the capacity to generate genuinely innovative knowledge. Through critical bibliographic analysis of specialized literature published between 2020 and 2026, the research identifies that artificial intelligence operates through statistical interpolation of existing patterns, lacking the dimensions that characterize human thought: intentionality, ethical responsibility, and epistemological rupture capacity. Results reveal that the dehumanization of thought is not accidental but a structural consequence of replacing human cognitive processes with systems operating according to radically different logics. Algorithmic governmentality functions as a mechanism through which this transformation occurs not through coercion but through seduction by efficiency. It is concluded that academia must defend spaces where human thought flourishes in its most authentic form, recognizing that certain dimensions of cognition cannot be delegated to machines without irreparable loss of creative capacity and intellectual responsibility.
