This research addresses ancestral knowledge and its profound connection with resilience, as an act of sharing an ancestral heritage, a fundamental aspect in history, serving as a pillar of learnings that contributed to Ecuadorian communities to promote the development of well-being. The main objective was to raise awareness of ancestral knowledge to practice resilience, which is important because it connects us with cultural and spiritual roots. This knowledge conveys values of respect, solidarity, and harmony with nature. A critical bibliographic review study was conducted, using a diverse sample for the study. In the instrument applied, the analysis of the aspects covering ancestral knowledge in Ecuador was shown. The applied methodology consisted of qualitative and quantitative methods, using the survey technique where the instruments included bibliographic analysis. The data from the applied instrument were processed using SPSS 25, which indicates that reliability is positive, obtaining a Cronbach's alpha of 0.97, reflecting a good level of reliability of the instrument used, along with a review of specialized literature. The results reveal the relevance of ancestral knowledge and how it has been transmitted across generations, which verified that it is essential in today's society, forming knowledge in everyday life. This demonstrated an understanding that raising awareness of ancestral knowledge involves knowledge factors that have been built throughout history, being fundamental for the knowledge that has been framed in the history of Ecuador.
