EVALUACIÓN DE LA ESTABILIDAD DEL COLOR DE RESINAS 3D FRENTE A RESINAS COMPUESTAS TRAS LA INMERSIÓN EN SOLUCIÓN DE CAFÉ

La estabilidad del color es un factor determinante para el desempeño clínico de las restauraciones de resina compuesta. Con el avance de las tecnologías de fabricación digital, se han introducido resinas impresas en 3D en odontología, pero su estabilidad del color aún no está establecida. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar la estabilidad del color de resinas dentales impresas mediante tecnología 3D con una resina compuesta convencional tras la exposición a una solución pigmentante. Se elaboraron muestras circulares (10 mm de diámetro × 2 mm de espesor) de una resina compuesta y dos resinas impresas en 3D. Las muestras se distribuyeron en seis grupos (n=10) según el material y la solución de inmersión (agua destilada o café instantáneo Nescafé) y se sometieron al protocolo de inmersión durante 21 días. Las lecturas de color se realizaron utilizando el sistema CIELAB, calculando los valores ΔE. Los datos se analizaron mediante ANOVA de dos vías y la prueba complementaria de Tukey (α = 0,05). Se observó una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre los grupos (p = 0,001), con valores de ΔE menores para las muestras sumergidas en agua y mayores variaciones de color para las expuestas al café. Se concluye que tanto el tipo de material como la solución de inmersión influyen en la estabilidad del color, siendo la resina compuesta convencional menos resistente a la pigmentación que las resinas impresas en 3D.
