EDUCAÇÃO VIRTUAL NO CHILE: UM EXEMPLO DE UM NOVO ESPAÇO PARA A APRENDIZAGEM

A Educação Virtual surgiu em 2002 a partir de um projeto conjunto entre o Centro de Aperfeiçoamento, Experimentação e Pesquisas Pedagógicas (CPEIP) e o Centro Links de Educação e Tecnologia. O CPEIP desenvolveu uma linha de formação docente a distância via Internet, oferecendo diversos cursos desde 2002, enquanto o Centro Links, ao longo dos últimos 15 anos, tem dedicado seus esforços a proporcionar a professores e estudantes acesso a oportunidades educacionais associadas às novas tecnologias da informação e comunicação. Ambas as instituições decidiram unir esforços e desenvolver um projeto integrado que incorporasse a linha de formação docente a distância do CPEIP, até então voltada à atualização curricular, bem como diferentes estratégias de apoio à apropriação das TICs e à sua integração curricular.
