LITERATURE ON STAGE: DECOLONIZING KNOWLEDGE AND THE PRODUCTION OF SUBJECTIVITIES

Abstract

This article proposes a reflection on the intersection between literature and the process of decolonizing knowledge, discussing how literary production can be a means of contesting and reconfiguring subjectivities. Drawing on historically silenced and marginalized voices, we explore literature as a fertile ground for critical thinking that challenges traditional structures of power and knowledge. We investigate how literature can not only reflect but also shape new epistemologies, fostering intercultural dialogues and problematizing hegemonic narratives. Through an analysis of contemporary works, the article seeks to highlight the importance of diverse voices in the construction of literary knowledge and the formation of subjectivities.
