MY HERO ACADEMIA AND THE DEFENSE OF CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLES: THE PRESERVATION OF ORDER, LIBERTY, AND PROPERTY FROM A CONSERVATIVE PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This scientific article proposes an interdisciplinary analysis, under the aegis of legal dialectics and conservative political philosophy, of the normative and social structure of the work My Hero Academia. The investigation focuses on the premise that the emergence of "individualities" (Quirks) has provoked an ontological crisis in the rule of law, requiring a reconfiguration of state intervention to safeguard social peace. The central objective is to investigate how the regulation of individualities by the Public Safety Commission and the actions of licensed heroes converge to protect the fundamental pillars established in Article 5 of the 1988 Federal Constitution: public order, individual liberty, and private property. Methodologically, the study uses bibliographic research and theoretical analysis of authors such as Russell Kirk (2013), Edmund Burke (1982), and Max Weber (1991), cross-referencing them with the analysis of the tensions between liberty and order in the conservative tradition proposed by Coutinho (2014). The discussion addresses the figure of All Might as a "charismatic domination" necessary for systemic stability and the ideology of the "Thin Blue Line" as a mechanism for legitimizing institutional strength against nihilistic subversion. It also examines the fusion between shonen ethics and the self-made man archetype, grounding a meritocratic view of freedom that is subordinated to duty and personal responsibility. Finally, the work analyzes how villainy, by challenging the inviolability of property and historical legacy, validates the need for strong traditional institutions. It concludes that the "Hero Society" operates as a model of conservative governance where order is the indispensable prerequisite for the existence of freedom, consolidating legal security as a shield against anarchy.
