Author Guidelines

Important Notice

We inform the academic community that, as of September 22, 2025, the journal REGEO will be published by New Science Publisher.

Please note that, if a submitted manuscript is accepted, a publication fee of BRL 970.00 (nine hundred and seventy Brazilian reais) will be charged.

We appreciate your understanding and count on everyone’s collaboration.

To ensure a proper submission, authors must verify that their manuscripts meet the criteria below. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for corrections before being sent for review:

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and is not being simultaneously considered by another journal.

  • Submission Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word or RTF format, with a maximum file size of 3 MB.

  • References: Whenever possible, authors should include URLs or digital identifiers (DOIs) for all cited references to facilitate source verification.

These guidelines are essential to ensure that manuscripts are properly prepared for the review process and potential publication in Revista ReGeo.

Article Formatting and Preparation Guidelines – Revista ReGeo

Revista ReGeo requires that submitted manuscripts be original and unpublished, and that they have not been previously published in other journals. Articles previously presented at scientific events may be accepted, provided that this information is clearly stated by the authors at the time of submission.

The formatting guidelines are as follows:

  • Articles must be a maximum of 25 pages and may include up to 8 authors.

  • Use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing throughout the text.

  • Figures, tables, and charts must be embedded in the text, using font size 10 for the content. The title must appear above the element and the caption/legend below it.

  • The article titles must be provided in Portuguese, English, and Spanish at the beginning of the document, using font size 14.

  • Abstracts and keywords must be placed immediately below the titles, using single spacing.

  • Files submitted for review must not contain any author-identifying information, ensuring the double-blind peer review process.

  • peer review;

  • communication between authors, editors, and reviewers;

  • publication and indexing of articles.

This information will not be used for other purposes nor shared with third parties without the data subjects’ consent, except when required by law.

Data Protection

Revista ReGeo adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or improper destruction.

These measures include access controls, information security best practices, and internal procedures aimed at protecting personal data.

Data Retention

Personal information is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the editorial purposes described in this statement or as required by applicable legislation. When no longer necessary, the data are securely deleted or anonymized.
