SEGURIDAD Y CALIDAD DE LA ATENCIÓN: EL PAPEL DE LAS TECNOLOGÍAS DE IMAGEN Y LA COMUNICACIÓN INTERPROFESIONAL DESDE EL DIAGNÓSTICO HASTA LA REHABILITACIÓN

La seguridad del paciente y la calidad de la atención son desafíos centrales en la atención médica contemporánea, especialmente dada la creciente complejidad tecnológica de los servicios de salud. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar, mediante una revisión bibliográfica integradora, la influencia de las tecnologías de imagen y la comunicación interprofesional en la promoción de la seguridad y la mejora de la atención, desde el diagnóstico hasta la rehabilitación. Se consultaron las bases de datos PubMed, SciELO, LILACS, Web of Science y BVS, incluyendo publicaciones entre 2020 y 2025. El análisis de los estudios mostró que la integración entre médicos, enfermeras, farmacéuticos, fisioterapeutas y radiólogos es crucial para el uso seguro de las tecnologías de diagnóstico, la reducción de errores clínicos y el fortalecimiento de la continuidad de la atención. También se encontró que las fallas de comunicación entre equipos están directamente asociadas con eventos adversos y atención fragmentada. Se concluye que la comunicación interprofesional eficiente y la capacitación continua del equipo son estrategias esenciales para que las tecnologías de imagen contribuyan eficazmente a la excelencia, la seguridad y la humanización de la atención médica.
