NEUROSCIENCE AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF NEUROPSYCHOPEDAGOGICAL INTERVENTIONS IN THE EDUCATIONAL CONTEXT

The growing intersection between neuroscience and education has led to the development of the field of neuroeducation, which focuses on improving educational practices and learning environments through an in-depth understanding of brain processes. The main objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of neuropsychopedagogical interventions in the educational environment of the Escola Municipal Professor Carlos Alves dos Passos Filho, focusing specifically on elementary school I classes. This study, in its methodology, adopts a quasi-experimental and cross-sectional approach using qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions. The research was conducted at the Professor Carlos Alves dos Passos Filho Municipal School, with a sample of students identified as having learning difficulties. The interventions were developed based on neuropsychopedagogical assessments and applied following a specific schedule. Data were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics to measure the effectiveness of the interventions, in addition to systematic observation to monitor the students' progress. The results showed that, using the neuropsychopedagogical assessment instrument, it was possible to identify deficits in written language, mathematics and executive functions of the students, as well as gaps in teacher training, difficulties in diagnosing learning difficulties and in implementing adaptive pedagogical practices by the teachers. Therefore, a training cycle was designed for the teachers at the school where the research was conducted, allowing them to act more effectively in mediating learning.
