O TRABALHO INFANTIL NA PERSPECTIVA DE GÊNERO NA LITERATURA INTERNACIONAL: UMA REVISÃO DE ESCOPO

O trabalho infantil é um problema global que envolve crianças e adolescentes em atividades laborais abaixo da idade mínima legal de cada país, que viola direitos fundamentais além de comprometer seu desenvolvimento integral. No mundo, estima-se que 152 milhões de crianças estejam nesta situação, incluindo 64 milhões de meninas e 88 milhões de meninos. A COVID-19 expôs lacunas na proteção infantil no mundo e demonstrou a necessidade urgente de estratégias para erradicação do trabalho infantil. O objetivo foi investigar na literatura nacional e internacional as publicações acerca do trabalho infantil e as diferenças de gênero, a partir da Pandemia da Covid-19. O método utilizado foi a revisão de escopo, com busca sistemática em quatro bases de dados, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde-BVS, Scopus, Scientific Electronic Library Online – SciELO e PubMed, com os descritores "child labor”, “early work”, "gender", "gender identity" a partir da pandemia da COVID-19 (2020 a 2024). Foram identificados um total de 335 artigos nas bases de dados, após o processo de seleção, conforme o manual do Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), foram incluídos 18 na revisão. A produção científica concentrou-se majoritariamente no continente asiático, seguida pela África, Américas e Europa. Os resultados indicam a permanência de uma divisão sexual do trabalho infantil, com predominância de meninas em atividades domésticas e meninos em espaços públicos, além de evidenciarem lacunas na literatura quanto a abordagens interseccionais que integrem gênero, raça, etnia e classe social, fundamentadas em uma perspectiva crítica e de direitos humanos.
