CONNECTED EDUCATION: PATHWAYS OF ARTICULATION BETWEEN CURRICULUM, METHODOLOGIES, AND TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

This study aims to reflect on the interweaving of curriculum, methodologies, and technologies in contemporary basic education. The study used bibliographic research, aiming to understand the integration/articulation of curriculum, methodologies, and technologies in basic education, grounded in journal articles and books. The relevance of this theme lies in the need to reflect on and rethink education so that it can also evolve; because as social changes have occurred, a teaching approach frozen in rigid conceptions will face social dissonance. The text is organized into an introduction, a development section in which I will present a concept of curriculum, methodologies, and technologies in contemporary basic education; final considerations; and bibliographical references. The study concludes that these three elements are parts of an articulated and dynamic system. Obsolete pedagogical practices detached from students’ lives do not correspond to contemporary education. Curriculum, methodologies, and technologies intertwined have the power to make teaching more meaningful, more inclusive, and connected to students’ lives.
